Thought it about time I check out your site. Been near 3 years since I stoped by for a visit.
I'm still keeping busy with the Iowa Black Powder Federation....Secretary.
Still publicity for the Southeastern Sportsman's Society, Inc. of Douds, Iowa.
Most fun is keeping grandkids interested in rendezvous...they think it is much more intertaining than school. Of course they are only 5 and 6!
Hope to meet you in person sometime. Anyone who wants info. about either of the groups I'm with please feel free to drop me an e-mail.
Have a safe hunting season. Make sure of your target and the back ground before you shoot.
PLEASE --- REMEMBER TO PRAY FOR OUR COUNTRY!

I've voo'n since 99 and love it, sometimes just wish I could do it all the time cause there are some beautiful people out there that have more of the old time famaily values that is so baddly need in this day and age.

Keep up the good work and maybe you can come visit us in the Sho Me state.

comment: My family and I are just getting into buckskinning and black powder, so our learning curve is somewhat steep right now. However, I have thrown myself into it and have already made 2 powder horns, skrimshawed one and am now in process of making 6 pairs of moccasins.
I have bought my first rifle, am buying my 14 year old his first rifle tomorrow for his birthday.
This is a fascinating hobby/lifestyle which has something for everyone. Thanks to you for your good information and to all the fellow 'skinners out there who have helped me out so far.
